Alt-Right icon ‘Based Stickman’ sent to jail — won’t spread his hateful message at San Francisco rally

The notorious alt-Right icon behind the “Based Stickman” meme was remanded into custody Friday and banned from multiple weekend rallies.

“Kyle ‘Based Stickman’ Chapman, a 41-year-old Daly City man, could face up to eight years in state prison if convicted of the felony charge of possessing a lead pipe,” The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman was charged with possession of a “leaden stick allegedly used to hit counterprotesters during a pro-President Trump event in Berkeley,” which could carry an enhanced sentence under California law due to his prior felony robbery and grand theft convictions. Alameda County Superior Court Judge Mark A. McCannon set bail at $135,000 and required Chapman stay 300 yards from the weekend rallies in San Francisco and Berkeley.

The night before being arraigned, Chapman vowed he would attend “regardless” of what happened in court. “If found guilty, with prior enhancements I’m looking a good chunk of time. Regardless, I will be attending the SF and Berekley rallies,” Chapman wrote on Facebook.

Go stickman! Show the authorities and those snowflakes how a real man sticks up for his racist principles.

That way, maybe he'll die in jail and probably not of old age.

52 minutes ago the LA Times, a reputable world-class newspaper my husband and I subscribed to for a quarter-century, reported he has been ordered not to attend the rally. Only.

Let's hope it still turns out to be true and he also ends up in prison.

The headline there reports he's been sent to jail. Or, do you consider the SFC to be a tabloid also?

But Raw Story is being used as a source here extremely often lately, and I find that worrying. What will be its agendas in 2018 and 2020?

What happened to the crazy right should make us all afraid of postings from and links to left wing propaganda sources. The kind that, just like Breitbart, post a forest of shallow truths to camouflage the deceptions within.

Maybe post directly from reputable confirmatory sources?

Raw Story recycles news and sometimes colors it. So I always go to their news source if there is a link to evaluate. If there is no link, I bag it.

"The possibility of a lengthy sentence stems from his prior criminal history, including a 1993 felony robbery conviction in Texas and a 2001 grand theft conviction in San Diego County, court officials said."

will not be making an appearance since he has been denied bail after finally turning himself in. He had prior arrests for DUIs from years ago and he said that after those experiences he ramped up his anti-government activities. Eventually he went from running for local office as a libertarian to becoming a major Alt-right nut.

I wonder where Milo and Ann Coulter are these days? They are big "free speech" advocates.

I hope the stupid bastard does go to the rally at Crissy Field.
That way, he's more likely to be convicted of the felony charge of carrying a lead pipe.
