Wes Bellamy, Charlottesville's Vice-mayor, said "it is important for us to call these people for what they are: white supremacists".

He was speaking to the BBC's Laura Bicker, and said that the white nationalist groups that sparked violence in the city "came to fulfill the promise of President Trump".

Its too vague to describe the hate filled planned rampage I saw yesterday, doesn't sound like killers. I saw Nazis and that's how I will describe them from now on. Drumpf and his Nazi followers are unamerican. They want to destroy our country and all the good it stands for.
