First daughter Ivanka Trump on Sunday condemned “racism, white supremacy and neo-nazis” a day after violent clashes at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, left three dead and dozens injured.

“There should be no place in society for racism, white supremacy and neo-nazis,” she tweeted. “We must all come together as Americans.”

I am not a fan of this woman, her father or anyone else that goes around a trumpets the virtues of this BS of making it sound like it really is some kind of heartfelt moment of BS, it's still BS and needs to be called what it is.

Her father has at his feet the birther issue, second this woman uses economic racism to make a buck, just like her family and any other corporation in the country and the world, that is a reality of fact.

Trump hates being on the losing team. As it's playing out his unshakeable ~35% approval rating are apparently these neo-Nazi alt-right bigots, plus the less violent ones who secretly appreciate white supremacy and will silently approve and vote for him. If 45 did a turnaround and got the other 65% on his side by catering (pandering) to them - Shoring up ACA, handling immigration compassionately, admitting that it's wrong to discriminate against POC, women, LGBTQ, and at least making a show of actually meaning what he says and admitting he was doing it wrong...he could get all the appreciation he wants. Like I said in another post about Obama "I don't care if he puts his feet on the the oval office desk and golfs occasionally so long as he's working for the good of America and humanity." Yes, we are not the people who voted for him, but bipartisanship works both ways. A real "smart guy" with no loyalty would capitalize on winning the larger voting bloc.

I know he's completely too far down the "slimeball' tube to work his way back out of this, but we know his loyalty has no purchase and is as slippery as his whims. Why wouldn't he defect from the losing side? If he had done the pivot everyone wanted him to and practiced a little magnanimity early on, he could have held onto the country as a functional, if mediocre, President.

But the nail in the coffin for me was her interview after the brilliant SNL parody of a perfume commercial with Scarlett Johansson as Ivanka pushing the perfume called "Complicit". In that interview she says. "If being complicit is wanting to — is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I'm complicit. I don’t know what it means to be complicit, but you know, I hope time will prove that I have done a good job,"
