'Go back to your country': Woman chased by man with knife in her yard
Source: MSN
A 36-year-old man is jailed and charged after an Auburn woman was chased in her front yard with a knife and told to "go back to her country.
Travis Senner is accused of second-degree assault and malicious harassment, Washington's hate crime charge.
The woman was pulling into her gated Auburn home about 8:30 a.m. March 31 when she saw the man later identified as Senner standing on the street near her house, police reports say. She was waiting for her automatic metal gate to open when Senner allegedly walked onto her property through the opening gate.
As the woman parked and exited her car, Senner reportedly yelled at her and asked her where she was from. When the woman replied that she was from Mexico, he began to yell profanities at her and told her to "go back to her country," according to Auburn police.

(1,865 posts)Trump plays to the lowest of human behaviors and this is the result. When this man gets locked up I hope he uses the time behind bars to contemplate where his hate comes from.

(13,527 posts)The homeowner yelled at Senner to leave her property, but the man then pulled off his sunglasses and threw them on the ground, then pulled a home smoke detector from his waist band and told her it was a bomb, the incident report indicates. He allegedly threatened to "blow her up."
After throwing the smoke detector on the ground, Senner went on to rant about a sticker on the woman's car that read "Jalisco," a state in Mexico, and told her to "go back to her country" and "get out of his state," reports say.
Senner also kicked and damaged the woman's metal gate and then opened her yard waste bin and claimed he was going to "blow her head up," the woman told police.
The man then produced a small black folding knife, opened it, and chased the woman around her front yard, telling her to "leave his state" and that he was going to stab her, according to the incident report.
- - - - - a fucking smoke detector.
He's in jail on $100,000 bond - will dft bail him out? Send him a good lawyer?
So glad to know the woman is (physically) unharmed, and was able to get cops there quickly.

(5,275 posts)It is like we have an offshoot race of sub humans befouling our nation. Sub humans and stupid humans, too many of them.
In season 1 of the "Doctor Who" reboot the Doctor kept seeing the term "Bad Wolf" everywhere, signaling evil was afoot. This seems similar but Chitolini is the Bad Wolf.

(8,303 posts)Because of the fake "bomb", etc, the prosecution might not be able to sustain that burden.
But this is a terroristic, prolonged assault that seems quite serious.

(8,303 posts)I looked up Washington assault charges, and I can see why they are not charging first, because they can't prove intent to inflict great bodily harm.
But there should be more charged here than just second degree assault. These are Class B & Class C felonies, with a maximum ten/five years respectively.
I don't know. Conduct like this seems pretty serious. I certainly would not like to see this guy back on the street in a couple of years.

(13,421 posts)I'm not saying it would have been right, but gate crashing into somebody's private property, threatening them, then pulling out a weapon and chasing them is liable to get your ass shot. Not sure that the homeowner would ever be charged under that scenario, either.

(1,214 posts)If he did this to my wife (also Hispanic), she'd pepper spray him. She keeps it on her key ring now. That would still be lucky for him, someone comes after me with a knife, they're going to find out I keep a baseball bat in my truck.
