Weekly Address: Merry Christmas from the President and the First Lady

Source: White House

In this week’s address, the President and the First Lady wished all Americans a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. They reflected on the honor of serving the American people as President and First Lady over the past eight years and the progress that has been made.

The President and the First Lady recognized our troops and their families for their service, and they encouraged everyone to visit JoiningForces.gov to find out how to support service members, veterans, and military families in your community

can't wait to get out of there. President Obama knows what a colossal failure Trump is going to be, but I'm sure Michelle just wants her own life.

Listened on the radio this morning and wanted to cry. They are going to be so missed. Ironically I had a local music station on that plays Christmas music this time of year and the Josh Groban song "Believe" was playing as I watched the video you posted but then also had the Norad Santa Tracker going (testing for when one of my young nieces comes over later) and it has been flying all over Russia (previously all over the South Pacific).

Hope you and yours have a wonderful and loving holiday!

the Obamas have been wishing us a Merry Christmas all along, starting with their first Christmas on the White House on 2009:

(For the benefit and edification of any "It's finally safe to say Merry Christmas again" deplorables you might encounter).

Trump told a recent rally that, with his Presidency, it will again be OK to say Merry Christmas in the White House.
