37. Californians are feeling the Bern and feeling it strong.
Mon May 30, 2016, 11:56 PM
May 2016

We are concerned about the environment, about water, about democratic values, about the cost of housing which in California is way out of proportion with ordinary wages.

We are worried about the lack of good jobs, about the inordinately high cost of education and the burden that young people bear due to their student loans.

We want everyone to be able to afford healthcare. We want children to have decent education and especially affordable childcare and attention in early childhood when mom has to work just to pay the exorbitant rents in California.

I went to a community near my own. We dropped the list of names we had and just went door to door. The enthusiasm for Bernie was astounding. I've done a lot of campaigning in my life, and I have never seen anything like it.

Who knows what the primary results will be here? I can't claim to have a crystal-ball-reading on that. But Hillary problem has reason to be worried.

She is not well liked in California. And it is no wonder. She mostly comes here to see rich people and ask them for money. I don't think she cares much about our issues at all.

Hillary backed out on the California debate. We in California do not like that.

that figure includes the super delegates... those small gatherings where she was meeting people had nothing to do with their decision, most of them signed on before the campaign really even began.

Reality is that she's going to win in New Jersey by about 15%, just getting a head start on burying Sanders in California, that's all.

Other than Montana and the Dakotas, all the remaining primaries are hers.
