‘Fox and Friends’ airs 4-minute anti-Obama video that looks like a political attack ad

Source: Yahoo News

"Fox & Friends" aired a nearly-four-minute video about President Barack Obama on Wednesday, drawing the ire of critics who say it looked, felt and sounded like a political attack ad.

"We decided to take a look back at the president's first term to see if it lived up to hope and change," co-host Gretchen Carlson said while introducing the video.

The video, produced by Fox News associate producer Chris White, attacks Obama's record on job creation and the unemployment rate--and includes a dramatic, "Star Wars"-esque soundtrack. It aired twice on Wednesday's show.

"The package that aired on 'Fox & Friends' was created by an associate producer and was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network," Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming at Fox News, said in a statement to Yahoo News. "This has been addressed with the show's producers."

is allowed to produce, write, film and air a four minute piece on one of the networks most popular programs without senior approval? Fuck that noise.

I call massive bullshit on this, there is no way on Gawds green Earth that an Associate Producer would ever be allowed to do this.

I don't think anyone on that shithole network would be able to produce anything more than a 30 second spot without the absolute permission of the micromanaging fuckhead in charge Roger Ailes himself.

.... of "Oops!"... like when they repeatedly label criminal R Congressmen and Senators with a "D".

No other professional network makes so many "mistakes" and "flubs". It's like Fox News is some college station.

But we all know it isn't.

I don't suppose it mentioned GOP obstructionism. That would be a good opening commentary for its "exposed" viewing. And responsible journalists can go thru it and point out it's mistakes and warped takes on events.

(I haven't seen it BTW)

...didn't have to, it's the same fucking vomitous that spews from Fux News every fucking day.

But the most interesting thing about this is that the unanswered or unasked question is who at Fux authorized funding for this pooch diarrhea. If I were a betting man, I'd say that Fux's BD people are about as moronic as anyone of their pie hole flapping fuckwits.

So Roger "Double Chin and Small Dick" Ailes, what's the matter, can't control your fucking army of minions?

They have been branded as pro-rethug and their listeners are already in the Rethug camp. All this did was expose republican dirty tactics to the independents and it will backfire.

Faux News doesn't realize that it is not 2000 anymore .... the electorate has been educated about Faux news.

And the continued shoveling of the shit into Fox News' current viewers only serves to further retard (literally) the potential that said viewers may dig themselves out of the hole and educate themselves without the shackles of propoganda.

I'm forever an optimist, but only to a point.....

they should be made to run a ticker at the bottom announcing they are not a news channel - they are an entertainment channel and anything they say is not to be taken as truth - after all that's what they said when they went to court.

Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, and Brian Kilmeade misspoke Saturday night during the "Fox & Friends" Cold Open. Here is a list of the corrections that ran at the end of that sketch:

There are currently no bills before the House that would require women to have a transvaginal ultrasound before buying sunglasses.

The Taliban is not producing cereal called "Honey Bunches of Goats."

Kirk Cameron is not the voice of Siri.

Miss America is not third in the order of succession for the Presidency, nor is Miss Teen USA fourth.

President Barack Obama does not plan to take the "forwarding" option away from email.

Disney World is not planning to add Rush Limbaugh to their Hall of Presidents.

Nowhere in the Bible does it mention Garth Brooks or Chris Gaines.

Turtles do not have "tiny TVs and sofa beds" inside their shells.

Pete Rose did not receive a lifetime ban from the Hallmark Hall of Fame.

"National Treasure" is a not a documentary even though it feels very real.

Wisconsin is an American state and not "just a bit."

Mormons breathe air.

Horses do not have "teeth so sharp you wouldn't believe it."

Children raised by same-sex couples are not statistically more likely to let the American flag touch the ground.

"Psych" is a popular detective show on the USA Network, not a super-secret NASA Mind Experiment.

It takes more than five to six months of medical school to become a surgeon.

Sour Patch Kids are a snack food and therefore physically incapable of pulling a knife on someone.

Congress has not declared a "War on Jean Shorts."

It is unlikely that Fareed Zakaria is Willem Defoe in character.

Babies tend to like hugs.

It is not illegal to discard a Christmas tree.

John Wilkes Booth was not wearing a hooded sweatshirt when he shot President Lincoln, nor were the Lincolns attending a staging of "The Vagina Monologues."

Remember what they said? It was unpatriotic to criticize the president. The more I think about it, the more I think that war was intentionally prolonged to keep "W" in office. And if I'm not mistaken, the media delayed posting information that might have changed the outcome of that election. Can't remember if it was the Plame situation or something else.
