4. So a couple of questions...

Why are they focusing on the woman when the two men in the top picture also have guns?

Did they not see that?

...and since they have plate have they not tried going to the owner's house to find out whats going on?

5. They're not just focusing on the woman -

subsequent reports mention "people with guns" and also that they're not sure if it's assault rifles or paintball guns. The photos were taken by a retired NY P.O. Hopefully he'd have the same suspicious reaction if it were a white male but who knows? In any event, there are massive delays in S.I. due to checkpoints while they look for the car (which has New Jersey plates) - in "an abundance of caution."

6. UPDATE - Police are convinced they were paintball guns. HOWEVER...

...they want to find them because they're suspected of being responsible for previous paintball attacks on members of the public.
