"You're fired"*..* From Our Political Coverage
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won't report on Trump's campaign as part of The Huffington Post's political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump's campaign is a sideshow. We won't take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you'll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

(47,953 posts)In fact, one could argue that he is the most serious of them, because he says what the others think, openly and without code.

(18,791 posts)I kept asking why it was Palin, 24/7, on their front page...I was told I was "disruptive."
I've never looked at that POS again (and that was in 2008).

Sorry, but don't trust HuffPo's intentions here. This is a pro-Bush move.

(11,841 posts)They should cover him just as they would cover any 3rd party person or any other minor candidate.
All this does is give more fodder to the right to say "See, the media is biased"

(1,238 posts)Who is HP to decide who and who is not a serious candidate? Newsflash: he's in first place in the polls and has all the money he wants to spend to keep his message out there (no matter how bad it is). This sets a bad precedent for media, and shows how non-credible HP is as a news outlet.
They probably just did it for attention, the worst part is its going to give him more attention and will play into their victim mentality and "left wing media" faux outrage.
