Billionaire GOP donor deletes ‘lesbian’ joke about Hillary Clinton

Source: Politico

Hedge-fund billionaire Daniel Loeb — one of the biggest and most feared investors on Wall Street and a vocal backer of same-sex marriage — posted a joke speculating about Hillary Clinton’s sexuality on his personal Facebook page.

The anti-Clinton diatribe wasn’t Loeb’s own joke or words — it appeared to be a right-wing meme that has been circulating online since Clinton’s first run. The same faux “Dear Abby” column was also posted on the Facebook page of actor Kevin Sorbo, best known for his role as Hercules in the TV series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.”

The resurfacing of the old attack on the Clintons this cycle — on the page of a prominent billionaire — indicates how ugly attacks could get if Hillary Clinton gets into the uncharted territory of a general election.

Loeb, who bundled money for Barack Obama in 2008 before turning on him and backing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in 2012, has shown interest in a few of the GOP candidates this cycle.

wish that you hadn't posted it, or that you had put it in the Hillary Clinton group. I have never seen it before. It makes me sick. I guess there is more to come. They still haven't let up on the racist Obama jokes. I have even heard a few Democrats tell those.

Apparantly that's b.s. too.

I keep reminding myself that she is the first woman who has come this close in percentages, & very much may be our next President.
And considering how the culture is still that of a patriarchy, this ignorant typical "good old boy" remark doesn't surprise me.

This is the sort of crass stupid statement that moves female voters to Hillary Clinton's side.

This stings at every woman & girl's soul because they have all heard that same piggish insult throughout their lifetime.

This man represents Wall Street Billionaires & Hillary is not in that club.

We need Hillary in the White House more than ever.
For all women in this country & in the world.

the current "Dear Abby", sue that asshole for this.

But I know the asshole's tweet is probably "protected" some how, even though it makes it sound like it's an actually "dear Abby" letter. And Jeanne and her mother Pauline are VERY pro-gay.

John Prine has a song called "Dear Abby." It is funny. The song has been around for a while.

Jeanne and her mother have name recognition and respect. They might not care to bother with something like this. They can afford to be above it.

Yeah those jokes have been around since the 92 campaign. He's recycling jokes that were old and worn when I graduated from high school 22 years ago.
