Boehner: Israel Didn't Give Me Info From Alleged Iran Talks Spying Operation

Source: TPM

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said on Tuesday that he never received confidential information on the Iran nuclear talks from Israel.

Boehner was responding to the Wall Street Journal report that Israel spied on Iran's nuclear talks with the U.S. and other countries, and then shared the confidential information with U.S. lawmakers.

"I read that story this morning, and frankly I was a bit shocked," Boehner told reporters on Tuesday, according to The Hill. "There was no information revealed to me whatsoever."

"I'm shocked by the fact that there were reports in this press article that information was being passed on by the Israelis to members of Congress. I'm not aware of that at all," he continued. "I'm baffled by it."

I was going to post something like "Put the bottle down, Mr. Speaker, and we'll explain it you", but you got that one in first.

Alcoholics have notoriously short memories. They probably did tell him (without identifying the source) and he forgot.

After breaking protocol and inviting a foreign leader to address congress and after having violated the Logan Act with that mutinous letter to Iran, after having been party to the most obstructionist congress in the history of the US, we're expected to believe these anti-American bastards?

They all should be in court right fucking now.

I saw a comment yesterday in General Discussion that was locked. There was nothing in the opinion that was derogatory or not true. Just an honest opinion about Netanyahu.

The reason they gave for locking the post was that THE ELECTION WAS OVER.

I am already self censuring myself on here and if I want honest discussion with regards to Israeli policy, I will go else where. Shame.
