There is an issue with our ads that may temporarily affect non-Star Members (UPDATED)

UPDATE: I haven't received official confirmation yet, but the ads appear to have stopped infinitely scrolling, so it looks like the problem is under control. Thanks for your patience. If, however, you are still experiencing issues with infinitely scrolling ads underneath OPs, please let me know.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Unfortunately -- through no fault of our own -- one of our ad placements has broken. Yesterday we disabled that placement while we awaited a fix.

The company which serves those ads is working on a solution right now, but in order for them to troubleshoot the issue we have had to re-enable the placement. This means that you may see an infinitely scrolling list of ads underneath OPs.

As a temporary hack, if you scroll very quickly past the ads you may be able to "break" the infinite scroll and reach the replies beneath the OP.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully this problem will be resolved shortly. We'll keep you updated.
