Boy, I really feel like someone needs to lance the boil soon.

(This is just a futile rant. If you don't want to be bothered with it please close this window)

I feel kind of sick over the elimination of everything that protects citizens from disastrous calamities, the huge forced handover of our hard earned cash to people who don't need it and the disgusting sucking sound of Republican lips locked onto Trump's rotting teats. They've decided to drink deeply of the fetid slime he exudes in spite of knowing it is poisoning the foundations of our country.

We sit in anticipation of the grand take down of Trump and all his mealy followers but there is no guarantee it will ever come or be in time to save us.

Our best hope is in November 2018 but the outcome is unsure and I'm not confident we will all even be here then. 11 more months of this wanton destruction could bring down nation as we know it.

It is a hard time to live through and it could be only starting.

(Rant over. Now let's go get some ice cream.)

Who could possibly want the rapid deterioration of our country and manage at the same time to convince a third of the voters that it is the best thing that could ever happen to us? Who wants most to stick it to us, but knows that if he fires a shot in our direction, it's all over for both of us? And, finally, who has worked all his professional life for an organization that specialized in just those goals and tactics?

Hint: he wasn't born in New York OR Hawaii

the Senate and House but they need to field candidates that will actually fight for the liberal principals of the party. They are going to try to win over seats in conservative regions and there is a potential that they might end up with a problem with keeping everybody in lockstep in order to deal with the Republicans. Democrats in uber conservative regions may have to lean to the right because that is the makeup of their constituency. To get around that and allow the Democrats in those areas to remain true to the Democratic principles you have to constantly be reaching out to the same types of groups that voted in Alabama and make them part of the process so that they remain engaged and continue to vote in future elections. The recent Alabama race really drove home the consequence of voting in a candidate like Roy Moore and people reacted and came out to vote. Democrats need to continue to get that level of engagement and maintain it between elections so that they will still be there the next time.

Some people feel like it is time for the old guard to step aside and let the younger people assume the mantel of leadership. Nancy Pelosi is really good at holding the house members together, far better than Ryan (or McConnell in the Senate). I want a leadership that can continue to provide a unified front in Congress while fighting for liberal principals and being willing to put the people first. Long term success relies upon winning the trust of the voters and being able to keep them energized to show up everytime at the polls.

A constant feeling of impending doom. My husband and I were so enjoying our retirement until Nov. 8, 2016. Who the hell is going to save us?

The giant boil on our right cheek is ugly, annoying, and it makes us painfully aware of its presence any chance it can get. It's time to drain it with a constitutional Lance.

get the point of rising to the occasion, already we have seen the wrath of this horrible POS and Putin sticking his finger in the eye of American citizens. Putin hates democracies we should all know that and so does tRump. I only hope this scurve that has permeated our country is quickly flushed out.
