A kickback is effectively a quid-pro-quo bribe — a collusive agreement —designed to help or influence an individual, company, or government entity. When a contractor promises to “kick back” some of the proceeds from a contract to the hiring decision-makers, a kickback has been offered. If the official suggests such an arrangement, a kickback has been solicited. Kickbacks can be in the form of money, credits, gifts, gratuity, offering of services, or anything of value. Kickbacks can take place in a variety of settings, such as politics, government, games, and the health care industry. Kickbacks are often referred to colloquially as “under the table” payments.

And in this political climate where criminal Congressional activity is routinely and sometimes openly practiced/enabled/smugly celebrated, it doesn’t seem to matter anyway.
These are truly treacherous (and treasonous) times.

Corker is just giving insulting “duhhh, huh?, i’m A victim of duplicitous stupidity” lip service to something he absolutely knew about and was paid for.

Better to appear incompetent and dumb as a box of hair (“I didn’t even read the bill”) than calculatingly sleazeball criminal.

I notice all the news shows now feature Republican operators who are aghast at Donald Trump. But they are still REPUBLICANS!

This is not Trump tax policy, it is REPUBLICAN tax policy. This is not Trump's policies screwing up our international trust, it is the REPUBLICAN talkshow bitchlist come to life. It won't be Trump who comes after SS and Medicare and Medicaid, it will be the mainstream REPUBLICAN Party.

Remember Lindsey Graham!

Slippery, they are.

My other favorite provision in the bill is when a minimum wage worker gets $75 for childcare and a person making $400,000 gets $4,000 for childcare.
