I think it’s a possibility for these reasons.
He’s a conservative type person.
He seems to be able to work and seems to get along with all types of people regardless of race, gender, etc.
Age wise he’s not super old but he’s not so young he has no life experience either including some political knowledge as he worked with the Clinton’s he is also a Democrat
He is a Christian ( I think fairly devout)
So for the ones that worry about religion that would help)
Done enough interviews etc could hold his own in debates.
Many times he has had the shocked look
On his face when he is talking about Trump
The Republicans and stuff they have been doing.

George is a nice guy, but he turned on Bill Clinton while he was President. If I recall correctly, he said his time in the Clinton White House was ok, but sometimes "appalling." While I greatly appreciate his work in helping Bill Clinton get elected, George should be a little more respectful and stop giving the other side ammunition.

last Democratic primary debate between Obama and
Hillary Clinton in 2008. The little shithead attacked both
of the candidates asking questions that were straight out
the Republican attack play book. He did it for good television,
