Is a 30 Minute Paid Program sponsored by non other than The NRA that runs on different cable channels. They call the President every name in the book and accuse him of treason.
It is frightening!
The NRA is fucking evil

(36,827 posts)The frightening part is that they enjoy as much political influence as they do. It speaks volumes about the political party that allows it to happen.
This is how crazy these idiots have become...

(1 post)At 1:30 am I called the local NBC station to voice my complaint. Of course even the 'News Hotline' number went unanswered at that time night, so I shot off (no pun intended) an email instead. I plan on calling each and every station that airs that 30 minutes of lies and hatred.
I understand that stations get revenue for the air time they sell but they also need to be a little responsible for what they put on the air. We're not talking about vacuums or exercise programming here. Bad enough Super PACs flood the air waves with with 20 second ads... 30 minutes of venom is just too much!
FYI Depending on your cable provider, you can search to see where and when this infomercial will be aired and get your complaints ready! I already saw that the local ABC station aired The Secret War on Guns at 5:30 am....they will be hearing from me, too!

I sent an e-mail, then did my research - I'm sure Mr. Hubbard the CEO of Reelz is probably a fan of the NRA. I sent one to Turner too - Georgia based GOP mecca of the South. That e-mail will be dumped into the "whiny liberal" folder.

As it is, there is too much settled law protecting gun rights to put much of a dent in any of it without a constitutional amendment - which has nowhere near the support it would need.

Unless you're a victim of gun violence, then it's your fault for not having a gun too.
