TRENDING: Romney trip to highlight foreign policy flashpoints

CNN's Kevin Liptak
(CNN) - Mitt Romney's upcoming international swing will provide the presumptive GOP nominee an opportunity to lend authority to his presidential bid, but it will not generate any new proclamations of policy, advisers to his campaign said this week.
Romney will travel to London, Israel and Poland beginning Wednesday, meeting with top leaders in each country for sessions meant to "learn and listen" rather than to advance any particular policy contrast with President Barack Obama.

(4,802 posts)But , then Mitt and Israel's Prime Minister BB have business connections. Will Mitt say anything embarrassing is not the point..
Mitt already is surrounded by Neo Con's... And this tour geared to reinforce those Bush foreign policy connections of American Supremacy.. We saw how that worked out..
What Mitt need do is expand his agenda to real countries where he'll deal with how the World views American exceptionalism , say Russia, Brazil, India , or France. Maybe learn about concepts such as diplomacy at the UN..
But, then with John Bolton as a primary adviser, balance is something not to be expected from someone who is not balanced into the ways of the world.

(10 posts)And, also, if it worked for the Tundra Twit, it will work for me, philosophically speaking.
Of course, unlike the Tundra Twit, I have friends with money everywhere. I'll look at this experience as an opportunity to raise additional investment capital for the boys at Bain and if I'm really on top of my game, additional campaign donations.
I'm a winner!
