Richard Ben-Veniste says that the Flynn plea agreement requires polygraph tests

I just saw Richard Ben-Veniste on CNN and he says that the Michael Flynn plea agreement requires that Flynn submit to a polygraph exam anytime Mueller requires it. If Flynn lies at any time, the deal is void.

Are you fucking kidding me? If that's accurate, the whole Trump team is up the creek without a paddle. Flynn spent nearly every day with Trump for 18 months.

I know lie detector tests are inadmissible at trial, but it sure is a hell of a tool to have in your kit during the investigation.

And unless he delivers Trumps head on a platter, his own is in serious danger.

I believe that Trump conspired with the Russians to steal the election in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.

I believe that he thinks he was doing the US a great service. Because he would be the president to finally achieve a rapprochement with the Ruskies.

He thinks that would make him a world historic hero and that a little election tampering was a small price to pay for that outcome.

Someone within the Trump Circle besides Flynn will pop up and Verify info from Flynn. This is a Counter Intelligence case, and there are people who will be Tried for Treason in Federal Courts and will be Tried for Money laundry charges in State Courts. Hunch says, this is a long term event and will know doubt last fire to six years.

...and such tests can be inconclusive. But I don't think that's Mueller's point. It's psychological. He's messing with Flynn's head with this and other ways. If Flynn thinks about lying, or doing something really stupid, a la Manafort, he'll get that nasty twinge in his stomach that's his ass is grass. Negative reinforcement works as well as positive many times.

I don't think he is a sociopath. Trump, yes. Flynn had a good reputation before he got mixed up with these people. He is doing a lot of this to save his son.

I am no fan of Flynn's, especially after the "lock her up" chanting. But we have to look at him as a complex person, with a variety of motivations.

I know you did not call Flynn a sociopath directly.

I have never understood why people are so attached to them. Most other countries have the good sense not to make use of them.

At this point he has every incentive to tell the truth. I think this is just a simple measure to ensure he has absolutely no further attachment to tRump. Hell, you could even call it deprogramming the little sycophant.

<snip>"Proponents will say the test is about 90 percent accurate. Critics will say it's about 70 percent accurate," said Frank Horvath of the American Polygraph Association. "Many people refer to polygraph tests as lie detector tests, and that's a bit of a misnomer.<snip>

Far, far less. Those who believe in them make the unsubstantiated claim that they are accurate. So far as I can tell, no one ever, back when they were first being introduced, made any efforts whatsoever to validate them.

From Wikipedia: Despite claims of 90% validity by polygraph advocates, the National Research Council has found no evidence of effectiveness.

Just do a bit of googling, and don't rely on one report from a news organization that clearly accepted the claims of those who already believe in them. Ask yourself the critical question: HOW do we know they are accurate?

And then ask, Really? On what basis? Where are the control groups? Where are the double-blind studies?

I'm reminded of the touching, if misguided, faith in the Meyer-Briggs nonsense. Again, something that was never validated, never tested properly. I'm constantly horrified at those who believe in it blindly.

are two different things.
We are simply going to have to sit back, wait and hope he has such information and if so that Mueller was able to really get it out of him.
