Maybe true, but what is one side to do when the other has been taken over by fringe reactionaries?

The funny thing is I keep hearing the Democrats have also moved towards the extreme left, but I don't see it.

They are being being attacked from the extreme left. there's a difference.

From what I've seen, alt-left and alt-right are pretty much indistinguishable: same targets, same goals.
