Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) told radio host Ross Kaminsky that Republicans will next try to reduce spending on Medicare, Medicaid and anti-poverty programs in an effort to reduce Americas deficit.
Said Ryan: Were going to have to get back next year at entitlement reform, which is how you tackle the debt and the deficit Frankly, its the health care entitlements that are the big drivers of our debt, so we spend more time on the health care entitlements because thats really where the problem lies, fiscally speaking.

Or perhaps, we don't give those tax breaks to the richest among us to explode the debt

Sure, why not. Democrats will hand it over on a silver platter. They don't need it so who cares.

For some reason they need to work hard to make sure one of our 48 votes goes out the window.

That's the republican way...
Daddy blows his paycheck on golf, gambling, booze parties with his pals, and Momma gets less food money...
That's how "starve the beast" works
dems build up a surplus or pay down debt frugally
repubs blow into town and want TAX CUTS (for their pals/donors only)
since the nest egg is gone, they HAVE to cut elsewhere
rinse repeat (FOR DECADES)
