There had better be something dastardly or I will email them forever telling them they are idiots and responsible for the further decline of the party. Forever.

in the long run, we're likely a better country for it, even if it hurts for now.

hopefully republicans start taking some hits soon, too....

Only 1/3 of Americans are Deplorables and countenance this aberrant behavior. That leaves the other 2/3 for us.

Franken is resigning of his own free will.

I believe in karma, and the sociopathic GOP is due for a shitload of karma to hit them and soon.

and putting them in difficult spots. They are losing some political capital.

And the best karma of all, is that women will have more safety and respect when
the dust settles. It is already happening, there is a national dialogue
about sexual harassment. Never happened before.

"I certainly don't remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann," said Franken. "As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn't. I shouldn't have done it."

than just one stupid photo and possibly one inappropriate but forgotten kiss.

in fact his apology sounded very much like he knew there would be either many similar accusations or accusations of something much worse.

if that is indeed all he's guilty of, then he made an epic fail in scandal management. throughout this he has not at all acted like someone innocent, fighting all allegations. he has sounded like someone bracing for more.

They are fucking over my children, but hey, some of them might still be permitted to have a job in the new 99% Republican congress.

The spineless DNC can't have any of that. Democratic leadership is worried that Repubics will say nasty things about them. News flash: If there's a D after your name Repubics will piss in your cornflakes and call you too weak to hold office. Hey Democrats, the time to start hitting back was when Reagan wrecked the middle class.

This is a Dem railroad job the likes of which
I've never seen before!

Maybe they've already decided who they want
for president in 2020 and Franken is their
biggest threat or something.

I just don't get this really!
