Hold to the love within all things
Found a card from an old friend today. It says “Your job is to have no attachment to the appearance of disharmony, but to hold to the love within all things.”
Finally got to clearing out an old bag of odds and ends from the last move, so it’s been sitting in a mixed bag of cleaning rags and dish towels since 2015.
It goes right to my heart so thought I’d share. Not believing in anything mystical or anything, just the love. Always thought the big dichotomy was between love and fear.
Politically, the right is fear. They appeal to fear to drum up support from their crowd and shut down cognitive process, appealing to the limbic system (or something...winging it here.)
Hold to the love within all things.
