Of dollars in bonuses...This started as a family hardware and furniture store in Mt. PA, in 1920. They have stores throughout Western PA and Eastern Ohio. They recently sold their stores (35 total including outlets and mattress stores) to a large company from Eastern PA. Robert Levin gave each employee thousands of dollars in bonuses....not just two or thee but thousands. I knew the family as I grew up in Mt. Pleasant. They were one of the few Jewish families there and we're always kind and generous people. Robert is a big supporter of Sen. Casey. How often do you hear of such generosity? One of the dock workers said he was planning on getting married and now they can afford to have a wedding.
