I'm tired of being used as a battering ram against him. There are plenty of other ways to insult him beyond implying sexual activity with Putin.

What matters is that LGBT people, of which I am one, are seeing ourselves being used on DU as an insult. Even if you have the best of intentions, and do not realize what you are doing when you use homosexuality as an insult (it's the hypocrisy, etc.) What matters is that it perpetuates the stereotype that being gay is bad.

This has been discussed ad nauseum on DU, for years. It is not acceptable. Period.

if we can't get a 2/3 vote in the Senate for conviction.
