(590 posts)Both the House and the Senate must pass the same exact bill or it doesn't go to the President for signing. We can hope the conference changes the Senate bill because that means both the House and Senate would need to take another vote. IMHO, the more exposure this thing gets the better.
Of course if the House and Senate just can't agree at all then it would die right there, but I don't expect that.

I personally don't believe that they will try in the Senate again, especially if they lose the seat in Alabama.
