We were looking for a hot air popper but my wife found a microwave popper at Aldi for $6.00.
It makes 16-18 cups of great popcorn and is much cheaper than a hot air popper.

More money for the popcorn budget.
To paraphrase one of the funniest lines from one of the funniest movies...
"Looks like I picked a bad time to quit drinking".
It's now popcorn, soda water. Sometimes flavored, mostimes not. Luckily I've always liked both.

I sprinkle the popcorn with a little bit of olive oil, salt and curry powder (sometimes some parmesan cheese), then shake it up in a covered bowl. Yummy!
