Democracy for America has pulled its direct support for the VA Democratic candidate because he said something about not supporting sanctuary cities, (I read something that they misunderstood him).

But these sanctimonious asses decide they are so moral they would rather give the election to a horrible Rethug than give support to someone who will actually care about the welfare of the people of VA

I am fed up with Democrats hating on each other!! Sometimes you don't have a perfect candidate. Consider the alternative for fuck's sake

Not when you can voter-suppress, gerrymander and have ruskie meddling (However they helped tRumputin/the GOP out) to help you win elections by not only stealing then altering emails from the DNC, but have ruskie bots via FB and Twitter help to sully and lie on the Dem nominee (Hillary), not when you had and still have ruskie bots continue to sew the seeds of discord/mistrust within the Democratic party with constant rehashing of the Bernie vs Hillary primary, and where you have bots pushing the notion that Hillary "cheated" Bernie out of his rightful place as the party's nominee. Not when you have the help of a complicit media who loved the ratings tRumputin bought to their networks so much, that they give him billions in free air time, while at the same time they didn't do much fact-checking on the LIES he spewed, and not when you had folks like MSNBC's Mrs. Greenspan saying constantly that "Hillary's emails, BAD," "tRumputin's lies, interesting." And since they're not being stopped, who knows what the ruskies will come up with in 2018/2020 to keep Dems from voting or how they'll get "rid" of or see to it that Dem votes "go missing."

Even if we as Dems somehow came together in a united front and voted in overwhelming numbers for fellow Dem candidates, how do we know that our votes will count or even be counted? thuglicans control everything from collecting to tallying of the votes. Do you trust them to collect/count our votes fairlr? It's bad enough that our votes may not count or be counted in the upcoming elections, but the voting machines/apparatus in many states here in this country are a MESS. I have almost NO faith in our upcoming elections because little to nothing has changed for the better (Like it would under tRumputin) since 11/8/2816. Dems could have had a fresh faced, intelligent Barack Obama/Joe Biden running like they did in 2008, and they still wouldn't have won the 2016 GE. Not when you had all of what happened in the 2016 GE happen.

7. This isn't a Democratic Party group, though, Maraya,

and although some must be registered as Democrats I bet a bunch of members would be offended at being characterized that way. Dean is a reasonable man, but he can't control all the people who flocked to his banner. The DFA firmly backed Sanders in 2016, and just look at all the Sanders diehards who despise the party. You can bet there are a bunch in the DFA.

And that's why they're not "eating their own." They're trying to eat Democrats. As usual.

Those farther left in any nation always attack the mainstream left group, and they always will because this is driven by personality thing, not issues. Zealots believe so fervently in themselves that they are unwilling to cooperate with liberals and other more moderate types to achieve compromise on common goals. And they justify this defeatist behavior by villifying Democrats. Every election we have to fight left and right to win.

Btw, it's no accident that the right and most corporate-directed media insist on labeling hostiles from farther left as Democrats and liberals, against the wishes of both. False labeling is the most powerful attack weapon they have.
