Sure, we have a brain-addled nincompoop running the country, but we could get phat tax cuts out of it.

who lived in Georgetown. And they covered up for Dan Quayle who had a big problem. I don't want to say what it was.

But the list of cover ups goes on an on.

(I have friends inside the beltway, this stuff is common knowledge there.)

Cheater, liar, money laundrer, tax evader, criminal, traitor, asshole.
This is who he is, I'm not giving him the benefit of an out. Yes, he may be developing aging issues, but he began his criminal deeds long ago.

They said he hardly mentioned tax reform and kept rambling on about the usual stuff. Trump claimed that at the end of the dinner they gave him a standing ovation and from what Brooks wrote , it's true.

That Trump was rambling and unhinged or that fellow Republicans gave him a standing ovation after a disjointed rant?

What are their excuses? Beyond the fact that they sold their souls, presumably for tax reform and the ACA's repeal. The former has yet to be determined and the second was an utter debacle.

Or is the madness, the monkey brain affliction simply spreading, a communal brain fever?

I keep saying I can't be surprised anymore. But then I am. The level of craven indifference to the health of the country is, indeed, shocking.

All these people deserve tar & feathering. Ugh!!!!
