A Brief and Depressing History of Rape Laws

In many societies, rape was defined as a crime against property—if it was defined as a crime at all.

I tried to trace American laws as to rape and I came to the conclusion that law or no law, for over a hundred years rape was entirely acceptable if the victim was black and even if the victim was white, rarely did a man pay any legal penalty for it.

This is the America the GOP wants, the conservative men are tired of worrying about hurting a woman's feelings for sure and most of them dont want to have to deal with the legal system if they force themselves on women.

Hell, they sure dont like sexual harassment civil actions and want them gone.
