Has anyone heard from Jon Heilman re his co-author Mark Halperin on the book "Game Change"?

I don't recall seeing anything. I kinda like Heilman and enjoy his appearances on Morning Joe and elsewhere. He seems like a good guy. Perhaps he is waiting to see how this all plays out...

I wonder how much he knew about Halperin's disgusting behavior...

1. I don't know anything about the sex lives of my co-workers.

i co-authored a limited edition book with a colleague and I know nothing about her sex life. I am unsure why so many on DU seem to believe everybody knows every secret that someone they work with keeps hidden. My guess is Halperin worked very hard to keep his terrible behavior secret.

2. Of course. Most people would not, unless their behavior suggested otherwise.

But Halperin has spilled the beans already and since Heilman was a collaborator on that book, he might have something to say, even if it is "I didn't know."

3. Ok. I ass-umed you were insinuating Heilman was an "enabler" because you had not seen a statement

from him yet. We've seen a lot of crazy talk like that lately on twitter and internet sites. Sorry I jumped to conclusions

7. Because I like him, I think Jon didn't know. I would be disappointed if he knew about

Halperin and did nothing. He "might" have had a word to Halperin to knock it off.

Things like that tend to get around.

5. Why the automatic assumption that Halperin knew? I don't get it. Serious question.

Appreciate any clarification you can give me on the reasoning here.

9. In terms of assumptions about knowing, I think you mean Heilman

not Halperin. Beyond that, I don't think there IS an "automatic assumption" about Heilmann -- The poster just said she "wondered" if he knew.
