Sinister figures

George Will, with arrows straight and quick, targets several in today’s Washington Post.

With eyes wide open, Mike Pence eagerly auditioned for the role as Donald Trump’s poodle. Now comfortably leashed, he deserves the degradations that he seems too sycophantic to recognize as such....

Trump’s energy, unleavened by intellect and untethered to principle, serves only his sovereign instinct to pander to those who adore him as much as he does.

Stephen Miller, Bannon’s White House residue…

Yes, I know it was not long ago that Will saw hope and promise in Pence, but that makes his words now even more noteworthy. His doing “Trump’s adolescent bidding with last Sunday’s preplanned virtue pageant of scripted indignation” no doubt contributed to his sinking reputation. Let us hope that more follow Will’s lead and flee the GOP.

I know what you mean.. And I've been thinking about that....

If he is that, I would say he is the type who only functions in one of his three parts- his 'thinking part' the 'intellectual part.'

But from my minimal observations over the years he is totally dis-functional in his body and feelings.. that is, he is not at all in contact with them.. He is like a 'thinking brain' .. nothing else.

Just a morning 'thought' ..I didn't say it very well, but...

Much like Ben Stein. But I can acknowledge that they are smart and educated.

I can't understand why smart educated people can believe the things they believe.

Feelings do not work. So they feel with their brains. Deep psychological disturbance.

...Trump is having his demolition-derby on.

They will burn the whole county down to cut taxes for the already-wealthy.

They only understand simple words and NEVER use complex sentences with them.

Stick to things like..

make america great again.
empty the swamp
we're gonna build a wall like you never seen before..

simple, has no meaning.. and works..

He was fired from his job from not towing the Republican hardline enough, as he rose up against Trump and maybe some other things. David Frum, too.

I pay attention to what they say because they are not automatically against the administration, and they are Republicans. They know inside stories, and they know what is NOT appropriate for Republicans, and what goes on behind the scenes.

Conservative columnist George Will has left the Republican Party over its presumptive nomination of Donald Trump.

Will, who writes a column for The Washington Post, spoke about his decision Friday at an event for the Federalist Society in Washington.

“This is not my party,” he told the audience, the news site PJ Media first reported.

Speaking with The Post, Will said that he changed his voter registration from “Republican” to “unaffiliated” several weeks ago, the day after House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) endorsed Trump.
