(17,111 posts)I live in SC and see big thunderstorms all the time. This particular one is a little different than what I usually see.
As for whining, what's it to you. I whine at the heat and whatever too now and then and I get it every summer. If they are experiencing temperatures that they aren't used to then I don't blame them for whining.

(550 posts)it looks like armageddon. My wife down in Coney Island told me that there hasn't even been a drop.
Without fail, though, the last 5 times it's rained, it started coming down just as I was getting off of the train.
Will it hold up until I at least get home (or halfway?) or will Mother Nature laugh at me and dump all over my head?
