I am mad as hell-this country ought to be exposed for the way

it treats the lower-class. Along with being exposed to radiation (Hanford Washington) as a child (1940's) which resulted in losing 3/4 of my thyroid to cancer and my oldest child died because we did not have the money to pay one of those damned doctors and Washington state said she had too much income ($700 per month) that she was not eligible for medical care. If she had RX which only a doctor can prescribe she would have lived and a 15 yr old daughter would not have found her mother dead on the floor.
Now I learned one of my friends also of lower income died 4 days ago in her home. Because the capitalist who owned the trailer she rented had a rat problem (and of course we know the lower classes have very little power in this country) the rats had chewed her face. One of her sons found her dead body at her trailer home in that condition. This country makes me sick...our representatives get medical for a life time. There is so much suffering medically and dentally that is inhumane for the lower classes in this country. the world ought to know how capitalism is a brutal failure. This country is a shame. I have no words to express how angry I feel but I am sure this country will continue its terror on the lower income people.

and that's beyond disgusting. Now they're talking about greatly increasing the defense budget, lowering taxes for the ultra-wealthy, and cutting Medicare and Medicaid. They have already allowed the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to expire and have spent who-knows-how-much trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act. And who are "they?" The Repuke party, of course. They are pure, malignant evil. I'm so sorry for your troubles and share your anger.

I share your disdain for the way the wealthy abuse their station, contrary to Reagan's favorite literary work, and the one he and other Republicans always get wrong... "The Model of Christian Charity." A sermon by John Winthrop when the Puritans sailed for the New World in 1630. Hell, even Adam Smith, the Father of Capitalism who wrote of the "Invisible Hand," wrote in the same book that there should be a graduated tax structure where the wealthy pay considerable more than the poor. It's funny how the Republicans only cherry pick the invisible hand part.

This country is built on perversions of Christianity, cited by people who are the antithesis of Christians.

The wealthy see themselves as deserving of their station, and others either lazy, not deserving, or their time has not come to be selected. The religious ones see their fortunes as a form of divine providence. These folks view their wealth on being chosen, and there must be something wrong with those who are not graced by God. They do not seek to "better the poors" because they and God chose their lot. I could go into so much more, but I won't. I share your anger and, for what it is worth, I am sorry that you and your friends are suffering such.

My sisters have thyroid issues. Stay away from anything with bromine variants in it (which are cancer inducers) and lean towards iodine (which is a cancer fighter). Years ago, breads and other foods used to have iodine in them, they've switched to bromine. The EU bans brominated vegetable oil for such reasons.
