Repealing the Ban on Government Research on Gun Violence is Long Overdue

Whether or not one political party believes in science and facts shouldn't deter the rest of us, who live in the real world, to focus our attention and energy on getting this ridiculous ban repealed.

1. It should be fairly safe to do that.

With gerrymandering, voter suppression and general hopelessness, the republican party's future is secure. They can appoint people to the research group they like and probably even get the NRA to pay their salaries saving the US taxpayer lottsa dough.
