It appears Big Mouth Chris Christie will be the GOP Keynote Speaker

"The word is going out quietly to Republican activists across New Jersey: If you're going to the GOP convention in Tampa next month, be sure to be there by Tuesday night, Aug. 28, because Gov. Chris Christie is going to be giving the keynote speech that night," the New York Post reports.

Said one party activist: "We've been told that's the night to be there, that's when the governor is going to speak. They're saying he's the keynoter."

I wonder if Mitts going to pick a boring VP or be pressured to go all Tea Baggey and pick a foaming knuckle dragger to appease a batshit crazy base.

where Pat Buchanan gave his famous speech. It was perfect! He said Buchanan looked like he had just eaten a good meal, "a child perhaps." He described Reagan as "looking like an iguana." I nearly fell out of my chair laughing...

I wish they'd get King to do it this year. Only Stephen King is able to describe these hideous people...

Christie is like a black hole, so massive that his personal gravitation has shortened him. He used to be 7 feet tall.

Gives him four years to recover from gastric bypass or lap band surgery. Or a coronary. I find him amusing and horrifying in a revolting Snookie train wreck way, and am pretty sure he'll never be president.
