but my little girls (3 of them...there were 5 altogether, but I couldn't handle the entire case alone) were important to me. I was the only constant in their lives for over 7 years. They might not have done as well had I left and I personally signed on for the whole ride. I quit when the last one finished high school.

There's one tan AR-15-looking gun in the center behind his head, and you can see the front sight post of a second AR-15 above his shoulder.

The rest you can't really make out. That, and he says he sold the guy a shotgun, which clearly wasn't used in the shooting spree yesterday.

And you say you've sold firearms to another 50,000 guys who similarly didn't trip your personal sensors? That's not exactly reassuring to the rest of us who will be on the receiving end of any more of your errors.

Fuck. Just fuck.

But crucify the guy who was just working there and probably interacted with him for a sum total of 30 minutes, if that.

Sheesh.

Our system is set up in such a way that it's up to a firearm seller's personal alarm to flag who might be a danger to the rest of us. Maybe we need a slightly more robust system of checks in place so that several hundred people at a concert aren't risking their lives because one guy's internal sensors didn't identify a risk? And by his own admission, this guy has apparently sold firearms to another 50,000 or so people. Yeah, I'll verbally crucify him for his poor judgment; that's a lot better outcome than last night victims of this guy's defective personal radar got.

But you be personally offended by that if it suits you.

Their catalog is rather extraordinary.

other than building a rapid body count.

There is no legitimate purpose for a weapon that fires at the rate the weapons he was using did (I've listened to the videos more times than I care - he was firing at about the rate of the packs of tiny firecrackers with shared fuse).
