So this takes place here in Philly. A guy I know comes out of a building and lo and behold, who's standing on the corner but Rick Santorum. Now this guy's politics would fit right in here, but he's not confrontational in a hostile fashion, so he goes over to Ricky, shakes his hand and says to him,"I disagree with everything you stand for, but I give you credit for having the guts to say it, even if it meant your political defeat. What were the voters thinking, nominating this mess for President, given what has happened, and what they must have known was going to happen?"
Santorum's response shaking his head: "Yeah, and it hasn't even started yet."

I wasn't going to post this for a couple of personal reasons, but after Santorum Spread (yuck!) that crap around today, I figured, WTF, right?

(25,623 posts)I know how you feel. I myself have nothing to do with these guys when I see them out, or when I treat them dentally. I have a few well-known RWers here who are on radio, etc., and won't engage and won't be impressed. They stay with me, BTW, b/c I'm the best dentist who takes their insurance. No shit.

Weird, because my dad used to call Frank Rizzo, former mayor here, a "tinhorn Mussolini".
