None of the participants served any time. It was also said that air strikes did the same thing, but this was on the ground troops.

...in broken English and Vietnamese...

with a small group of Vietnamese women, in the small village of Ba Ngoi. This was months before the My Lai massacre became public knowledge. They were loud and animated, saying that Americans killed "beaucoup" Vietnamese, women and children. I recall telling them that "No, America did not do such things".

It was shortly after Tet '68 and many soldiers were still angry and revengeful.

I never heard about it again until after I had returned to the States.
