Earlier today a Mexican official was interviewed on MSNBC, and he said the US was sending some people and specialized equipment, and they were on their way. He also said Japan and Israel were sending help. I don't know whether financial assistance has been offered.

I would check to see if donated food is tainted and the blankets infected with small pox or other contaminates.
