(8,203 posts)As a part of the roll out at our company for a quality process to enhance performance..identify problem, create root cause analysis, create solution, and include a time frame.....this includes peeling back the onion -
Just sayin' - silly me - we know what the problem is..republicons in congress, hate and bigotry in the congress and wh - ignorance of % of republicon base...they have no curiosity - just hate..
Let's stop the infighting - let's come together..the only way to turn the tide in congress and wh....haven't we learned anything????

(1,349 posts)fiction isn't limited to actual Republicans. Hate, bigotry, misogyny etc. is spread around, we'd love to come together, but these things are keeping us from doing so.
We need to learn to address this among those who claim to be on our side, but sound and act just like that base.

Or did she admit she was wrong and ask for forgiveness?
I wont google her anymore, my blood pressure rises when I do.

(10,533 posts)The sad thing is that there are others like her who feel vindicated, not shamed, by the outcome of their behavior.
ETA: It looks like she retweeted an attack on HRC by Glenn Greenwald a few days ago, so yeah, she's learned nothing.

(1,349 posts)What's the point of appealing to save DACA now after advocating against the only candidate that had any interest in addressing immigration reform and who understood what DACA was?

(17,984 posts)And here I thought DU was about having a side narrative picking apart Dems while the rethugs push their agenda freely.

(397 posts)about the $700 billion military budget, we're not supposed to talk about that with you? Ok, I'll make a mental note. Any time I see your name in a thread I will avoid mentioning military funding or corporatism. In fact, scratch that. I'm going to write it down on a little sticky pad and put it by my computer so I can remember.
Good day.

(10,839 posts)Not sure what people do not get about this but we need to save our wish lists until we put out the fire that's burning our house, then win the damn elections in 2018 and 2020. Then and only then will we have the luxury of being scrappy, Democratic barn cats fighting over liberal positions and policy details. Not to mention personalities.
At the moment we're leaning out of a burning structure, hoping to defend and save what we can. All energy needs to be spent on that--the saving part--and ensuring as many Democratic candidates win as possible.
If that means we run competitive Blue dogs, we run them. If that means a Dem candidate doesn't check off every Democratic box but is district competitive, we run them. In fact, it means every decent Democratic candidate that can take a Republican seat and still has a pulse gets a nod and we run them. Because we're being taught a hard (but oh so obvious lesson): Republicans have sold their souls en masse. If we want to save the country and its people, we vote for Democrats.
And if that's too hard, too complicated? Well, then don't talk to me either. Eliot is on the money. If we don't stop this madness--The Rocket Boy Emperor and his treasonous enablers--nothing else matters. There will be nothing left to save.

(31,121 posts)Easy to tell who wants Democrats to win and who doesnt, especially when they hope liberals like myself will quit.

all these, the deplorables and their leader? "Monstrously stupid"....The future of the Democratic Party? You named two of them...look forward not back to the same old tired, worn out bs that was partially responsible for our loss.

(45,528 posts)it reeks of mental health issues. The desire for defeat is strong on the left for some reason. Some DUers think Democratic Underground exists to bury the Democrats deep Underground.
The other side constantly talks about winning...and somehow those assholes manage to win. It's infuriating.

(23,337 posts)It really doesn't matter how "right" we were before the election or now for that matter. If we never win another election, we will lose our country. No doubt about that. After that, it REALLY won't matter how right we were will it?

(999 posts)I just served on a jury for a post on this thread. I am at a loss as to why anyone would alert on anyone of the posts In this thread. Has DU become that divisive. I am a reader more than a poster. However I have been on DU since 2004 in one form or another and I havee definitely noticed a change in tone.

(1,349 posts)state the nature of the attacks. It's not a "both sides" thing at all.
I'm new here, but the tone that you're seeing here is what everyone has been noticing since the end of 2015 on many platforms. It's the goal of all those Macedonian pages that claim to be from cities in the U.S.
