1. It really got a start

when that Dylan Roof asshat killed those people in a Charleston, SC church, and shortly thereafter, the Confederate flag came down at the State House in Columbia, SC.

But, recent events have indeed accelerated things somewhat. Today, my lady and I drove from SC to FL, and we passed the Jefferson Davis Highway, and the Dixie Highway, the day before, we went past Fort Bragg in NC, and I wonder when they're going to be renamed.
