Should Democrats continue to run against Donald Trump as their number one issue?

Or should they discuss jobs, the economy, the tax cuts, the deficits, infrastructure, healthcare, and other important issues, more than they discuss the deficiencies and immorality of Donald Trump?

How can Donald Trump not be the major issue for Democrats? And any thinking American?

Even the GOPers know what a douchebag Trump is by now, even if they aren't publicly admitting it yet. But by running against the GOP I would include pointing out the extent to which the GOP tolerated and enabled Trump's douchebaggery.

It didn't work for HRC and it won't work for any Dem going forward. People knew what a POS tRump was and they voted for him anyway. Dems need to be very vocal about their support for healthcare for all, infrastructure...especially for our coastal communities, affordable college, climate change policy among a myriad of other issues.

A comparison between how we have seen the GOP behave towards multiple issues versus how Dems will respond to those issues.

It's a start. It's catchy, the hats will be blue and maybe even made in the USA.

However, that's not going to do it all. The party is going to have to figure out how to do an end run around corrupt and hostile corporate media to get the message out.

it would appear they're going to get their opportunity to do both.

Trump today signaled his tax plan is much like his health care plan. He doesn't really have one. Wants vague goals that will clearly divide his own party and the debt ceiling clock is ticking. Do I think Republicans really want to raise taxes on white middle class voters which Trump plan almost certainly will...I doubt it.

Either way, a 15% corporate tax rate, cutting mortgage deduction and state and local tax deduction will be things in purple states that Dems can run on big time.
