Majority opposes shutdown for wall

... A Politico/Morning Consult poll finds 61 percent of voters surveyed are against shutting down the government to force Congress to fund the border wall.

Just 28 percent support a government shutdown for that purpose.

Another 11 percent don't know or don't have an opinion.

The poll, which was conducted from Aug. 24 to 28 among 1,999 registered voters, has a margin of error of 2 percentage points ...

2. and the 28 percent that support that idea

are the scariest demographic in America. I will bet you that he could propose anything and a little less or around a third of Americans will go for it.
