A massive 66 percent said they agree with Trump on none, almost none or just a few of the issues facing the country today. Only 15 percent said they agreed with Trump on all or nearly all of the issues. Even among Republicans, the figure was just 31 percent.

(81,565 posts)Hard to believe ANYONE could give him any sort of passing grade.
I couldn't even give him an F. That's still too high. I'd have to go all the way down to Z.

(19,204 posts)He's president for ONLY those who support him. The rest of the country can go to hell as far as he's concerned. He sincerely believes that his supporters are the only people who matter, and by doing that he's governing (if you can call it that) for the smallest group of people in Presidential history. What politician only concentrates on about 30% of the population? Trump's angle is who is within that 30%? Well, all of his friends, of course. Then there are the racists who he thinks very highly of, but most important of all, HIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY. Enriching himself and the Trump crime family at the taxpayers expense was job #1 for Trump all along.
However, I believe that's a double edged sword. In my opinion the Trump "brand" has taken a tremendous hit from his and his families' actions since he became president. Trump has bared his soul (if indeed he has a soul) for everyone in the world to see, and the vast majority who've seen him don't like what they've seen. Everyone has witnessed what a duplicitous liar he is, and I can't imagine anyone entering into a business deal with him, or even buying Trump brand products. If he thinks he's going to make up for all that lost revenue by fleecing the American people, I think he's utterly mistaken. Sure, he'll have the same old cronies playing golf at his courses, and buying Ivanka's cheap crap, but most of his "base" couldn't afford a single bottle of wine from his Trump winery. They're not wine drinkers anyway. Most of his supporters can't spell "golf", let alone play it at one of his ridiculously priced courses.
Hopefully, Comrade Trump and his crime family will reap the negative financial whirlwind from the disastrous and poisonous seeds he's sewn. He'll never pay a penny out of his own pocket for his multiple legal defense teams, but after he's out of the Oval Office (and that can't come soon enough) his costs are going to skyrocket, and I believe his revenue stream will collapse. Even if he avoids going to prison for his multiple crimes, this will hit him right where it hurts him the most: in his bank account and his reputation for being a "deal maker". That reputation has been been obliterated, hopefully forever. Many of us hate this man and his parasitic family. There isn't enough punishment for the things he's said and done to the people of our country, and to those in the rest of the world. Rot in hell you loathsome piece of crap!

(1,427 posts)That's what people voted for - something "interesting" every day. Hence his offense of the week(day). It's almost as if he has a team working on what outrageous evil he can put out that will grab the headlines next.

Those numbers were even better for him not too long ago. A lot of people cannot help but think of him as intelligent simply because he is wealthy.
