It was the Mayor of Houston -Sylvester turner- who said no. Of course he's a Democrat and a black guy to boot. So there is that.

Seriously. How long?
Thinking of that makes me think of those freeway interchanges in Houston under 30-40 feet of water. They would not have had a chance.

It's not just Houston, it's all of the costal cities that were evacuating that had to use those very same roads to get out.
A physical impossibility.
