If Not NOW ... When?

We have watched as you Republicans excuse the behaviour of your “pResident” – repeatedly, consistently, and without hesitation. We have often been left slack-jawed and disbelieving as the GOP ignores his blatant lies, his incoherent statements, his baseless accusations against his perceived enemies, and his arrogant defiance of the law where his personal business holdings while in office are concerned.

Over the past seven months, we have seen this “pResident” insult our allies, accuse his predecessor of a felony, act the buffoon on the world stage, and threaten nuclear war.

Your “pResident”, along with many members of his family and inner-circle, is under investigation for possible crimes against the country by colluding with the Russians – the same enemies your pResident” shared classified information with during a “closed meeting” in the Oval Office.

He is unfit for office not only due to his ignorance of our system of government and his failure to responsibly carry-out the duties of his office, but because he continually demonstrates signs of being increasingly paranoid, irrational, and mental impaired.

And through it all, you have defended and protected him.

How many times in the past seven months have you told yourselves it’s going to get better – and yet it has gotten progressively worse, day after day, week after week? How many times have you bitten your own tongue, wanting to scream “enough is enough”, only to back down, shut up, and do whatever it takes to cover your party’s ass, along with your own?

Surely you are aware that your “pResident’s” response to Charlottesville was a failure of leadership of epic proportions, and has been condemned – not only across the country, but around the world – as defending the despicable, anti-American tenets of white supremacy and nazism.

Despite that reaction, your “pResident” went on to double-down on his position that some KKK members and Nazis were “fine people”, while those who protested against them were equally to blame for the violence – and the deaths – that ensued.

Today, as the country is still reeling from his public display of declaring that racism and anti-Semitism have a place in our democracy, your “pResident” pardoned Joe Arpaio, the long-time poster-boy for bigotry and racism, known for his use of profiling in order to harass, arrest and detain Latinos on the basis of their skin colour and his inhumane mistreatment of inmates. He was convicted of directly defying a judge’s order, therby placing himself above the law. And for that defiance of the judiciary and its determination to uphold the Constitution and the laws of our land, he was rewarded by your “pResident” with a get out of jail free card.

If THIS is not the time you decide to grow a spine and denounce this “pResident”, exactly WHEN will that time arrive?

If THESE are not the actions that prompt you to stand in opposition to this out-of-control
idiot, precisely WHAT actions will cause you to do so?

If the STATEMENTS MADE by your unhinged “pResident” in Phoenix were not enough to make you put the well-being of your country above your loyalty to your party, what is left of your alleged patriotism, your alleged morals, your alleged love of country? What line will you refuse to cross; what despicable behaviour will you countenance before you stop biting your tongue and actually say “enough is enough”?

You are now at the point of “do or die” – and the whole world is watching as the clock continues to mark the time you have stood by and done nothing, and continue to do so.

One way or another, the incompetent Idiot you elected is going down. We all know that. It seems that NOW would be the perfect time to get on the right side of our country’s principles by denouncing his racism and his bigotry – especially in light of the fact that you have looked the other way when it comes to everything else he has done that is detrimental to our nation and its citizenry.

It’s NOW or never. Either you stand up for what is right, or you go down with the sinking ship you have persisted in shoring-up, without regard to the consequences to the country you supposedly love.

The ball is now in your court. You either do the right thing - or you don't. There is no longer any middle ground.

4. They DO really and truly want Pence

They knew no one like Pence would inspire enough idiots to come out and vote to make some states look "close" enough to give Republican governors a chance to toss the election Trump's way. But make no mistake, McTurtle and Ryan are no more happy with Trump than we are. They want an obedient lapdog in the White House, not a loose cannon.

When things look like they've reached the breaking point, i.e. Republicans truly fear losing their majorities in both houses of Congress, they will get Trump to step down, probably for health reasons. If he doesn't do as he's told, they would impeach him for jaywalking. Pence, once he is in, is exactly what they want: an mean, nasty Ayatollah who will sign anything they want him to. Pence could then slit the throat of his firstborn during a live press conference, and he wouldn't get so much as a slap on the wrist from this Congress.

The last thing they would want is a maniacal religious leader wanting to start WW3 to bring Jesus back to judge the world.

Pence would keep the God Squad in line by invoking the holy spirit frequently and keep their Bible Belt supporters in line, and he'd probably use the old Franco tactic from the days of the dictatorship, and get himself on TV every time he visits a church. But he'll do what the money wants without scaring them that their mansions and private planes won't be there next year. Republicans want someone that will horrify just us, not everybody.

There will be so many injunctions brought before federal judges citing the first amendment that Pence will finally be forced to read it to find out why he caused such a fuss in the first place.

knows that this post is true. We are at the mercy of a few corrupt gop politicians, who seem to think their schemes will swing any election to them. The democratic politicians had better step up their game, cut these useless pols off at the knees. The entire country is at stake, we can not let a few crooks in the gop take it over. tRump is a disaster of epic proportions, and they know it. Since he has (R) behind his name, they will stand by him no matter what. Time for cooler more rational heads to prevail. The only positive to come from this disaster of a WH is that the gop owns this clown. They are 100% responsible for this epic failure of a president.

Emails tRumps all, doncha know?

If our side is ever so stupid to even listen to their ridiculous propaganda against our Democratic leadership again, then we deserve tRump.

When they complain about Obama's experience (2008 election) the give us Rump? Fuck em.

When they complain that Hillary is under investigation for emails, but give us Rump who's under investigation for colluding with a hostile foreign government to manipulate US elections? Fuck em.

When they complain about Hillary not doing enough to help the Ambassador and security detail in Benghazi, but excuse Rump when, in his first month, he gets a seal and children killed in Yemen in an ill advised raid.. Fuck em.

When they scream about their "sanctity of marriage" to deny many the right of marriage, but elect a leader who's had 5 children across 3 marriages, and is famous for his adultery.. fuck em.

The open, brazen, and completely shameless hypocracy is enough to make me vomit.

Fuck em.

of Trump. The House will be Democratic come 2018. People are seeing the real consequences of the tyrant in the WH. GOP Governorships should fall too. Get busy grassroots out in the hinterlands. $15 minimum wage won't mean a damn thing if there are no jobs to pay it. Decent corporate CEOs can bring Trump to his "golden showers" knees. They have the real power.
