General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWho is your fav Dem to lead the tRump push back AND articulate what we Dems stand for?
It's easy to be super critical of the daily lies and utter incompetence of the tRump administration dumpster fire.
As we approach 2018, we all know we Dems must also articulate a plan which entices voters our direction. I don't think voting against tRump enablers is enough to feel confident about 2018.
Here is a Dem potential Prez list put out by The Hill which offers some great names:

Who would you add? Your top choice?
While it's fun to ponder a Dem President in 2020, we need to traverse 2018 first and I've yet to see any Dem as the TOP go-to choice on Sunday morning news shows.

(7,228 posts)I wonder why it does not feel like we have coalesced around a couple of voices nationally?
Bernie probably has the best infrastructure currently and I hope he leverages it to the max in 2018
Tammy is a legitimate war hero and progressive.
Cory is a great speaker and inspires.
Gavin is well known in California, and has tons of potential for broader leadership.
(I could add more compliments, just pointing out it's a tough choice)

(811 posts)And will admit an especially soft-spot for Elizabeth Warren. I had hoped she'd have been our VP nominee in 2016 with HRC at the top of the ticket.
But as the nominee in 2020? I don't see a better and more electable choice at this juncture than Cory Booker.
