When it finally does happen the GOP is finished as a national party, but in the meantime this state seems to be actively getting worse.

that's scarily close.

it's not hard to imagine republicans amping up the disenfranchisement and vote-rigging and media mayhem and flipping a few electoral votes somewhere. minnesota? new hampshire? nevada?

but it certainly would change the dynamics of a presidential campaign. even just seeing republicans have to spend big bucks just to keep texas would be great as it would make it easier to win other states.
