Gary Cohn, President Donald Trump's top economic adviser, has criticized the White House's response to Charlottesville, Virginia, in his first public remarks about the deadly violence earlier this month.
"This administration can and must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups and do everything we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities," Cohn told the Financial Times.
Cohn said he felt compelled "to voice my distress over the events of the last two weeks."

(14,557 posts)Let me translate that. He was OK with trump's bigotry when it was directed at brown people. He only had the urge "to voice his distress" when he fully realized it also extends to Jewish people.

(7,874 posts)His righteous indignation doesn't mean a damn thing if he doesn't resign...he's Jewish for G-d sake..I'll bet he had relatives who were victims of Hitler's Final Solution..and yet, he stood by as that piece of garbage vomited up his anti-Semitic and racist bile...no kudos for Cohn

(527 posts)Really, he was ok when it was women being demeaned. Just fine when it was people of color too. How can these idiots not realize that it will always come to them too? Anyone being discriminated against should bother all of us.
