The Continental Mark II models were manufactured in 1956 and 1957. I have never owned one, since I do not have the means to be a good steward for such a relatively rare component of the American automobile heritage.

At a car cruise this past summer, I saw a 1957 model owed by a proud husband-wife couple who are a bit older than I am. I would rate its condition as a "driver" rather than a show car. As for the car in the photo, I am unaware of its condition.

Owning a classic car and keeping it in driveable, presentable condition is not only expensive, but it demands commitment which taxes one's time and patience.
